I intended to add moving doors with locks and keys, which I've showcased in a shooter that I made entirely from scratch... but just didn't have time to do it. I hope you all enjoy what I did manage to put together though, namely the level design and rain effects on the first level.

Alternate colors for text in the title (or anywhere) seemed like a nice flair.

#myfirstgamejam #yourfirstgamejam This is really exciting to be finally doing unity with some pros and learning everything they have to show us!

Hi, I'm new to working on this particular microgame, but I'm having a lot of fun with it so far.

My (first) question today is, how can I set up a portal to get me to the second level scene? I see there is a prebuilt second level, and also a nice objective portal looking thing, but I'd like to be able to step into that portal to get me to the second scene (preferably without changing too much, if any, of the existing code).

Does anyone have a simple way to do this?

1) added tag to my player. 2) added scene to build index. 3) added a script using "onTriggerEnter" with "SceneManager.LoadScene" and that was that. now I can use the portals to enter different levels.
