Multiplayer Car Sumo
This is a Prototype 1 modification where two players try to ram each other off of the road. Player 1 uses WASD to move, and Player 2 uses the arrow keys. Modifications: Road shortened and added ramps Added second input for Player 2 Added an obstacle stack in the middle of the road Added a win condition when one vehicle fell off of the road at a certain height...

How do you play a particle system in the script?

This is my WinParticles.cs script on the player vehicle:
using UnityEngine;
using UnityEngine.Events;

public class WinParticles : MonoBehaviour
{
public ParticleSystem particles;

void Update()
{
if (!PlayerController.isWon)
{
particles.Play();
}
}
}

'particles' is set to the ConfettiCelebration asset from the 2D Platformer Microgame.

ParticleSystem.Play()
How does the Karting Microgame know that you complete a lap instead of just touching the finish line (such as if you go forward and backwards on the finish line)?

Reply@Roger Wang@Wiktor Marczyk Thank you for the reply. When the "Current" timer was running, I tried to complete a lap going backward. However, the game did not lap the timer. Is it set up so you have to complete the checkpoints in order? (Just testing the game, would not do this if actually trying to play the game.)
I think yes but I'm not 100% sure. It was written in the Karting Microgame Mod, "Build your own track" lesson, but it doesn't say specifically that you have to do them in the correct order. You might just switch them places and check if the game would count your lap time correctly then :)

Hey Roger - in the Hierarchy section of the project you can find three objects called "Checkpoint" "Checkpoint 1" and "Checkpoint 2". So for the game to count the lap as completed you have to cross all the Checkpoints and the finish line. If you click on those objects you'll see they are located after every quarter of the track. They are super important if you decide to tinker with your track. Because with my mod the track was completely different, so I neede to move the checkpoints.
