Hello to all new learners joining this group!
Highlighting a few things about this course so everyone is aware:
- This course is designed for intermediate level developers with familiarity building in Unity, ideally with some VR experience too. If you’re brand new to game development or VR, we recommend taking an intro to Unity course and/or an intro to VR tutorial prior to taking this one.
- The course uses Unity 2018.4 LTS. It is focused on developing for Rift S, so we recommend using a Rift S, but the principles covered also apply to Oculus Quest.
- You can access additional support and submit your vertical slice to the Oculus Developer Support team for feedback here: https://developer.oculus.com/unity-learn-vr/
Happy learning!

Reply@Erno SoinilaThanks Rachel. I opened the ready made sample, switched platform to Oculus Quest and built it onto device. On the device I can only see one hand (the controller I used last) and the avatar fingers don't move. Also the teleporting does not work (no green lasso anywhere)... In fact all I can do with Quest is look at one paralyzed fingers hand at a time and walk(physically). I added an App-id to it but it did not fix it. Does anybody have the scene working on Oculus Quest (would be good xmas present ;-) ) ?
Hi Erno, Thank you for that information that will be helpful in troubleshooting this issue. Right now I'm waiting on a Quest to be delivered but shipping is taking longer than expected because of the holiday shipping delays. As soon as it arrives I'll dig into this issue and hope to get you a solution ASAP!

Ok, Using the Oculus->Tools->Create Store Compatible Android Manifest makes the unity build work directly on device (even though Build and Run then only builds it but does not run it). Still this is better than needing to build the Android Studio-project.

Also it worked with Unity 2019.2.13 f1. :-)

Would be nice if somebody knows how to get the line set from Unity directly onto device (however now I can go to holiday(Havanna) in good mood ... thanks all) :-)

Great, thanks! I didn’t mean to rush/push, just checking in bc I wanted to work on it over the weekend. I’ll just watch more videos and get caught up on the code next week. Have a great weekend!
