Thank you Create With Code Live team. This course was an amazing accelerator. You can take credit for a lot of this :D

In response to a question from Serge, here are my tips for preparing for the exam: 1) Take advantage of the Unity offer for the free GMetrix tests. You get 10 of them, but you have a time limit of 1 month from the date you sign up, so don't do this until you're ready. That said, these tests are useful in letting you know which bits of Unity to study. 2) Take advantage of the Unity offer for the half-price Certiport exam. This gives you a more generous 6 months from purchase time for the exam, and you get a free retake if needed. They are doing online exams until the end of this year. Their website sucks. You have to create separate sign ups for the shop part of the site vs the exam portal. First purchase the licence with your discount code. Then go sign up on the exam portal but don't freak out that it says you must visit an exam centre. Instead go to certiport.com/EFH and read that stuff and book an online exam session - just because they're online doesn't mean you can do it when you want. 3) Do the Create With Code coursework and get familiar with coding in Unity. Activating these mental muscles is the best grounding. 4) Get to know the way to structure of scripts that extend MonoBehavior. And get to know the syntax and Unity capitalization conventions. 5) Find out a bit more about C# here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/csharp/tutorials/ As well as the basics, check out interfaces, properties and at least know about some of the less obvious things like await, nullable reference types, etc. as these can come up. 6) Understand various stock parts of Unity at least to a basic level: animator controllers, animations, Rigidbody, colliders, particles, shaders. 7) Don't worry too much about DOTS, but know enough to recognise what is a DOTS/ECS script vs a regular MonoBehaviour. 8) You'll have 50 minutes to answer 40 questions. If I'd been more organised I'd have set a timer to beep every minute. That said, don't panic in the exam. You'll be able to answer some questions very quickly and others it's fine to take a couple of minutes over. However, it's better to have answered all the questions than to answer less of them more perfectly. My sticky areas where I lost marks were ECS and shaders, which I'm just not familiar with and I got a slightly tricky ECS question. Good luck! See you on the other side!

Excellent work! Congrats!
Can someone help me with a Unity Test question? I got the following response on a GMetrix training test and it seems wrong... which probably means I'm misunderstanding.

The question is perhaps ambiguous, but I think it's saying the instantiated object should have the calling GameObject's rotation. That's transform.rotation isn't it? Whereas the correct answer was Quaternion.identity... but I think that's the prefab's existing rotation. Where did I go wrong?

Reply@Paul Masri-StoneI believe that there are some errors in the GMetrix tests. I have done one test (40 questions) and I believe 2 of them contain errors. This one above (ID 43805) and ID 43835 where they provide API definitions with a string as the first argument but then proceed to pass int to the functions.
I have reported both of these to GMetrix support
