I haven't heard of that plugin. I didn't even thought before to import fluid sim from blender to unity, but that seems a great way to achieve that.
As I see it's all in jappy, but google trad might do the job. Still, I don't see any reason to import such a thing in unity.
If I want a nice render, I'll use blender.
If I want a fluid in unity, I would rather use other tools (particle system for flows and a moving plane for the water surface).
I haven't done any math, but I think that a fluid sim would somewhate kill Unity. Let me know if you try it!

For sure, thats my concern to. I would love it if I could flood a level mid game, but that might be a bit to optimistic!
