Hello everyone. I want to make strategy game (like Tower defense) and have started to use the Unity 3 or 4 days ago:) (I have experience in the Java and Android System). I just finished Ruby's Adventure: 2D Beginner of Unity course.
But i need to a few concepts to build my game...
-I want to use different maps when user finished one map successfully.
-Make the entry screen,(When User run the our program, User goes there and can select map which he resume.
-Of course, This maps have enemies and want to destroy our homeland :). enemies is leveled up and they will more strong than previous map level, when User completed this level of maps(For example: Our maps include 10 section(or level) and player finished just first section)
-When our turrets have seen a enemy,(not surprisingly :) they start to fire to enemies. I need to circle trigger for making it but i don't know how i can make in Unity.
I may want you to lots of things:) Of course you don't have to answer question and you can just pass it this post. But if you answer my questions, I will be happy..
<Thanks for everything from now and stay healthy.>

Reply@DescaI have started a week ago with a Tower Defense, and some months ago with Unity: - For different maps, you can either have different scenes, Activate/Deactivate assets, or just build everything in the same screen and move the camera around. It depends on the scope of your game. - I'm not sure how to explain the leveling up of enemies: but you can just create new enemies and spawn them at different waves. - The circle trigger you need is a Collider :-) Create a collider, make it as big as the range you want, set it as trigger, give enemies a collider and rigidbody, and tell the turret that when something enters the collider, set it as a target and start firing at it. I found this which personally helped me a lot and much more than the Unity Tower Defense Template, since you write pretty much all the code from scratch. https://www.raywenderlich.com/269-how-to-create-a-tower-defense-game-in-unity-part-1 If you'd like to try and work in parallel with me so we can teach each other how to improve our Tower Defenses and share some codes, feel free to message me.

I found out that Code Monkey also has Tower Defense tutorials. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hp0ovwSC4FE It's hard to follow him but it's nevertheless educational.
