Curious if anyone here has taken the Unity certification exam, failed it and has tried to use the retake voucher. I'm currently in this situation and finding it darn near impossible to find someplace that will allow me to take the exam again and use the voucher Certiport gave me. Certiport has been pretty terrible at being able to help me.

Hi Everyone,
So I took the certification exam today and unfortunately failed. The test was really hard in my opinion, with many questions on things that didn't really seem to be covered in class (not blaming, as I understand only so much can be covered). The practice quizzes, however, were spot on regards to what was covered in class. Anything I missed on the quizzes I could go back and study and did much better 2nd and subsequent times.
So I understand we get one retake if we fail. Curious if anyone has suggestions on other study materials that may be better preparation for the exam.
Thanks!

Reply@Teodor Mircea IonitaCan you mention the topics that were not covered specifically in this course and caught you off-guard in the exam? As I understand we also get one retake, so I wish you better one next time!
From what I can remember there was just more in-depth stuff on animation, some items around Dictionaries. You only have 50 minutes to answer 40 questions and some questions took me over a minute to just read. You just have to know the stuff really well. It seems like the exam is suited to people who have been working with the software for a little while. There is apparently a Unity Associate Certification, which is more geared towards people newer to Unity. I'm having great difficulty scheduling a retake exam with the voucher. I'm in the US, in California. So maybe just tougher in my state and/or country.

I'm soooo lost with this coding stuff. I'm more/less copying/pasting from other prototypes for my personal project.
I can't for the life of me remember or figure out how to spawn one object at a time. I have a powerup that I only want to spawn one at a time. So I grab it, then I have an indicator that lasts for 5 seconds. Once time is up have a new powerup spawn, but only 1.

The easy way is to use a flag to have only 1, and use "Invoke" (NOT InvokeRepeating). That's the basic, and then are other options.
