The other elements were done using traditional 2D UI elements with alot of custom functionality, and offline tools for creating all the thumbnails etc.

The "in-scene" elements such as the arcs and lines used to show where boom arms are pointing etc. were made using the GL class (https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/GL.html), we created a utility functions allowing us to draw a number of customisable shapes. This was also very useful for visual debugging as well. Hopefully that helps?
