Hey all! I have a design doc ready for my game and I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Thanks!

I tried posting the game earlier and it didn't work exactly... trying again here with a text post and a link.

Here's my take on the karting microgame. The screenshot is lighter than the game (I took it before messing around with light settings) and any additional info SHOULD be on the game page if it all worked right.

Thanks for teaching this course!

PS Is it slow because of my internet, or because I "overspent my budget" on assets, lights. effects. etc?

just wanted to let you know that you did not post the WEBGL page link so there's no way for us to test your game. but it looks cool from the screenshot
Candy Race
I upped the speed and handling, re-routed the track, added some decorations and effects, and installed a shortcut (and a recovery ramp if the shortcut goes wrong)

You really nailed the "candyland" aesthetic! I won't answer your performance question directly, but ask you, how might you find out? What questions should ask and try and get answers? (Think it through before you scroll down. ) (We'll see how long comments display here) How does it run locally on you computer? What if you build it for native and run it? How do you think slow inet would make it
Sorry I just saw this now! Thank you for the feedback! It ran pretty well on my computer before I uploaded it, and then rather poorly once I tried to play it online. I dont really know much about what effects performance, especially coming from a very potato computer ( I cant use my desktop at the moment)

This project ran great and was super fun! Excellent work on the player choice to pick the low road or the high road!
Thank you so much!
