hi guys. i was trying to add new tracks to the karting game, but i couldnt find the ProGrids window in the Tools section, instead, i saw ProBuilder.

what do I do?

ps; progrids and probuilder aren't the same. Also, I use version 2019.3.9f1

ProGrids is a "preview package". As such it does not automatically appear in your Package Manager pop up window. You have to select "show preview packages" under the advanced tab in your package manager window. Then a whole lot of other packages appear, including Pro Grids.

Hi you don' t actually need probuilder at all. Just hold CTRL while moving an object, it snaps :)
hi guys. I'm Daniel. Pretty new to unity. I was working on adding confettiTrigger to the kart game. I'm supposed to drag "kart" from the hierarchy to the "trigger body" in the inspector, and it (kart) doesn't drag.

can someone please help

Reply@Denis DE WINTERHere is another way to get the same result : In the ConfettiTrigger inspector, click on the target on the right of the "Trigger Body" box. This will open a pop-up window showing all available objects with Rigidbodies. Select KartClassic_Player and that's it.

You should check on which layer the ConfettiTrigger and the KartCollider (child object of KartClassi_Player) are. The layer is indicated in the top right of the inspector in a drop down menu. Normally, ConfettiTrigger should be in the Default layer and KarCollider in the Kart layer. If they are not in these layers, peut them back. You should then go to the Edit/ProjectSettings/Physics menu and check in the Layer collision matrix that the Default x Kart box is ticked on.

Reply@KHerronI was about to say the same thing as Denis. But you should be able to drag Kart from the Hierarchy. Make sure your holding the mouse button, and that you see the little drag symbol.
I did too, in fact. But the kart didn't paste on the inspector

I did. I used the kartclassic_player, but after completing the setup (confetticelebration) and playtesting, the confetti celebration didn't work
