I want to start my indie studio. How can i start?

Michael FarrowStart by creating something small. Doesn't matter if it is not the best looking game. Don't let the enormity of making a game keep you from starting. You have to just jump in and start creating. You will learn the process needed as you go a long. Watch every video and read every article you can get your hands on. There is no cookie cutter template for an indie studio. You have to make games you love and want to play then when you have something that you really enjoy start polishing it and spread the word.
Great advice! I'd also emphasise: finish what you start (even if it's not perfect at 1.0, as to my findings perfectionism is something most of us can't afford): that's why starting small is a good idea, there's better chances to get it done. Also be prepared to do work for hire to finance your indie activities – and also think about the long run. Not to mention important (although just basic life skills you might or might not already have): define what is success in your books, get the right people involved, find other activities in life that make you happy. If there's one video you should take a look at it's Jake Birkett's wonderful and brutally honest talk at GDC about being an indie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmwbYl6f11c

Hi Guys!
I am very new in making a FULL game. I have experience in unity but i dont have experience in making a full playable game. Pre-Alpha build is just my maximum progress. I am starting to think about getting serious about making games and hopefully publish it. I was thinking about developing games for android and iOS. I am in a two man team and we are having trouble making our first game because we dont know how the process really works. Any tips, suggestions or advices? Thank you! :)

James SightlerGo to Udemy then type Unity! They have tons of courses to help you! they are cheap! :)
I already took a course there but it more on the engine. What i am looking for is the productiin process. Do i piych the idea first? How do we iterate prototypes? Design process? Art process? Narrative before design? Etc
