I'm about to develop a 3d puzzle game that ended up a bit similar in some aspects to captain toad (which i'm yet to try, so i'm not fully sure) but involves a kid controlling a toy through 3d puzzle mazes, creating obstacles and a story with his bare imagination.
The toy has his powers himself. He can make some of the structure points disappear. Sometimes vanishing one piece makes another fall in an undesirable way, so you need to make more than one disappear at a time. The problem is that the toy can only use his powers after they cool down, so you need to connect the structures to make the power affect both at the same time.
Here's the 3d models for the toy and a regular enemy:
The game aims to capture the child like sense of wonder and creativity of a kid making up a story with his toys, in a playable way.
