Game Innovation -- Industry Leading Art -- Professional Growth
We’re ArenaNet. We make the games we want to play a reality, and infuse them with innovation, hand-crafted detail, and creative passion.
As developer and publisher of the award-winning Guild Wars game series, we’re proud to share our passion for the online worlds we’ve created with over 11 million players worldwide.
COMMUNITY
ArenaNet employees have a vast diversity of skills and backgrounds, but we’re all united by a common goal. We work together and play together, which is why we have large communal areas for lunch and get-togethers, a well-stocked kitchen loaded with complimentary drinks and silos full of snacks, a complete gym, and our game room full of ping pong tables, gaming consoles, board games, and more.

TEAM DRIVEN
We have a project-oriented work culture, where multi-disciplinary teams form to work on cool stuff together. Programmers and designers work side-by-side with artists and writers on a project, and when they reach their goals they move on to the next interesting challenge.
PERSONAL GROWTH
We’re just as serious about building the potential of our employees as we are about building the potential of online games. Our employees hone their skills, develop new ideas, and collaborate with other disciplines in the Base Camp program. ArenaNet University hosts guest speakers, workshops, and classes right at the studio.
ENVIRONMENT
We’re located in Bellevue, Washington, in the vibrant greater Seattle area. Surrounded by water, evergreen forests, and mountain ranges, our area is blessed with endless recreational opportunities, a diverse mélange of cultures, and a legendary music and food scene.

CREATING ONLINE WORLDS.

INNOVATION
Our studio was built on a foundation of innovation, artistry, and hand-crafted design. We’re unlocking the true potential of online roleplaying with game-changing titles like the revolutionary Guild Wars 2. The status quo isn’t good enough for the dedicated worldwide community of GW2 players, which is why we question industry conventions and demand more from ourselves as developers.
