Wiseguys is a game about social dynamics. Your goal is to steal the most money out of the bank as possible while framing it on your cohorts.
Wiseguys came about when Filipe Seabra and I had to create a game that unites both young adults and elders together. To achieve that we used a tablet to create a game manager; an entity that tally’s scores like someone would for poker. What this does is facilitate the act of bluffing and managing mind-games as the task of scorekeeping would slow down the pace of the game. We choose the theme of greed as it makes for an experience anyone can understand and bring the fun of late night card games with your family to a modern platform. Wiseguys achieves this well as the experience is a social one that lives outside the device -- it is only there to facilitate play.
