Virtual Reality Design Lab
Aaron was the lead software developer for the University of Minnesota Virtual Reality Design Lab (VRDL). Housed within the College of Design, the VRDL develops technologies that empower designers of all types to visualize their designs in powerful new ways. The virtual reality system at the lab features a large-scale tracking system supporting 6 simultaneous users. The VRDL helps architects, interior designers, urban planners, retail designers and others immerse their clients in proposed designs. Aaron's projects at the VRDL included: - design and installation of a 50 foot diameter optical tracking system - design and fabrication of custom wireless VR head-mounted displays - programming custom visualization applications both native and Unity, across several platforms More information at:
