Design from scratch in collaboration with Client, an Augmented Reality educational platform. Built with Vuforia to be stable across multiple platforms and with on demand snap-targeting.
Application is designed to teach students in a socially constructive and dynamic environment how to use an ultrasound machine without any external support for the purpose of diagnosing blood flow irregularities.
Application was successful, included over 50 iterations from beginning of build to final product for Client, with 2 updates being provided since initial release.
Research conclusion: Application successful in decreasing training time by a factor of 15, without use of paid assistant to guide the students through the use of the machine. Student memory retention greater than that of control variable (using text book and paid assistant).
