You are one of the few survivors of Earth's environmental collapse. You lost your family in this crooked world... can you get them back? Are you strong enough to endure in This World of Orange?
Devastation, desolation, misery, emptiness…This is Earth, our home, collapsed, broken, a glimpse of what once was. The sands took over everything... forests, cities, nations... and what wasn’t taken, simply disappeared. The ice melted and the oceans rose alongside the deserts. Species devastated, ecosystems covered by dust. Some were strong enough to live, others were smart enough to hide, but be it animal or human what matters is surviving.
This World of Orange is a solo developed, First-person adventure game with stylized low poly visuals.
It is the first take of the creator into game development and intends to be a game with heavy emphasis in isolation and the depiction of a desolated, sand devastated world.
The game focus on HOPE to guide the player’s experience, being the main factor of survival. Over time, the character will be loosing HOPE, as a result of the continuous separation from his family.

The foggy effect is using a volumetric light asset from SlightlyMad (on GitHub) and the standard duststorm particle effect from Unity. Obviously with tweaks and adjustments to get the desired results :)

Is the fog-effect something from the asset store or did you make it yourself?
