Made for HoloStudy project. Earth with all it's layers. Implemented as state machine with open-closed states, extended-imploded states and 6 layers exposing states. Wrote custom shader for it. Geometry calculated at runtime in vertex shader, rotation of the textures and two textures blending are made in surface shader.
