The project consists in the creation of an interactive 3D exploration software for the archaeological area of Sa Mandra Manna.
The site has been modelled in 3D thanks to a photogrammetric elaboration of some 9000 digital shots acquired from helicopter, drone and ground level. The result is a total model of the wall, the corridor-type nuraghe and the surroundings, fully virtualized and interactively navigable in 3D.
The generation of the 3D software of the archaelogical area known as “the wall” within the fortified site of Sa Mandra Manna, in the municipal territory of Tula, is aimed at approaching academic archaeology to the multimedia technologies, in order to favour the understanding of historic data by the public.
In view of the world-wide use of digital technologies, significant benefits can be expected for the village of Tula.
