Runeseekers is a competitive battle arena strategy game played by 2 players, each of whom has a customized set of heroes, runes, item cards, and terrain boards. Over the course of the game, each player will take turns moving their heroes about the terrain board to overcome each other. The first player to defeat all their opponent’s heroes or captured their opponent’s base, wins.
A mobile app will be running an internal ATB gauge on each hero to decide which hero will go next based on their speed attribute. On the app, the splash art of the first hero with their basic info will appear with a 30 second timer. The owner of the current hero will have 30 seconds to do whatever actions they would like with that hero on the physical tabletop board. These actions will have a mana cost that the app will track. The active player’s turn with the current hero ends when they run out of available mana or when the timer reaches 0 moving to the next hero.
