Rapscallion was Runt's first project using Unity (or ever for that matter). We wanted to create a prototype to explore parkour/freerunning gameplay as well as some visual ideas. Primarily, we wanted to get familiar developing in Unity.
Our initial prototype got us an invitation to IGN's Indie Open House developer incubator. From there, our little prototype morphed into a polished demo we were able to showcase at GDC.
