Honours Project: An experiment in procedural generation
Project Getaway was the Idea I have chosen to develop for my showcase piece at university, the Honours project is the final piece of work I will be graded on at university and for this I wanted to showcase something I had been dwelling on for a year, the idea is based around Driver the Game, where the player drives varying vehicles and has to escape the map, but I wanted to showcase some procedural generation.
What you can see above is the process of going from a boxed out version of procedural generation to the basic demo version, all art and game objects are third party assets from the unity store, as my focus was on the procedural elements and the scripts to be used, the project has been built in C# using Unity 3D 2017 and 2018 and Visual Studio.
