Submission for the Ludum Dare #41 Compo. The theme for the competition was to "Combine two incompatible video game genres". Overcharged is a bullet-hell / Shoot'em up game with stealth aspects and mechanics.
The game is built heavily upon physics based movement and mechanics. Its art-style is almost entirely based on low-poly faces, quickly coded shaders, filters and real-time lighting. Due to quite a lot of players really liking the core mechanics of the gameplay and its visual design, i will be implementing most of this aesthetics onto a long term project that i'm currently working on.
