A 16-bit platform with a few levels, a story, and two endings
Nihilism Boy is a 2D platformer game made with Unity over the course a few days. The game's main character, Nihilism Boy, is off to save the princess (a familiar scene), but the twist is that giving up reveals the first ending, in which it really didn't matter if he saved the princess or not. The second ending is if the player does not give up. You will have to play it to see that ending. ;)
The games art was made in Pixly on an Android tablet. The levels were constructed using Unity 2017's new 2D Tile mapping tools. The voice-over work for the characters was recorded in my office using Audacity. The music was made on a Gameboy Camera with output into Audacity.
