Summary Your quest is to travel across the changing islands and try to reunite the king’s broken sword. Key features in the game are the sword and shield combat, procedually generated islands and last but not least awesome shadows. Specification: Group - Studio Smithereen School project: Nine weeks at 100% Level editor - Unity 3D Engine - In-house My contributions: Pre-production of Enemies Pre-production of Level generation Scripting (LUA) Prop placement Tools: Adobe Photoshop Notepad ++ Unity 3D In-house tools Work: For this project we focused a lot of our strengths for making a procedually generated level functionality. This was quite time consuming so until the functionality was functioning we needed to make enough pieces for our generation to get a unique feeling for each generation that was made. Level designers worked close with both programmers and artists, programmers to try and get the right feel for controls and mechanics and artists to keep environments 'alive' and believable.
