At first let me introduce my self.My name is Anar I am from Baku,from a childhood I am interested in game industry begin mygamer experience from NES.And from begining I just want to create my own game.And after intoduction with Unity engine,I understand that creating the game becomes more easier than ever.After this begin my game developer career.In my team consist only I.
2155, humanity has moved unprecedentedly in development, robots and androids have become a commonplace. But despite all the progress of the city have become so huge.The streets are dirty full of garbage, crime has reached unprecedented heights. Daily murders and looting have become routine. In the ghetto areas, people violate a thousand laws every day, sell drugs, weapons.
I've began to develop this game much more earlier than the chalenge begun.It was just a day I've watch Blade Runner then find the Neon(unity demo),after this i find this challange and think about it's a great chance to attract people's attentions and a little bit money for finishing up this project. I fired up with desire to make the detective adventure in cyberpunk setting.There must be a lot of neon light retro wave music and main thing is a story.I just began to write the storu about the detective who lost everything in his life ,and revolutional a.i who think and fell like a human,together they must uncover a misterious murder case.In this path they will met a lot of characters ,some of them will help them another want to kill them.All of this written above is the story which will be in game if I have resources for all of this.
The techincs and Level Design
I've began to develop the scene for this challenge from the road.It will be long steet,between the skyscraper and small building bars and gun stores.But main thing was the post processing because without it the game will be look not to cool as it will with the professionaly maked post processing .In this very helpful asset is a unity post processing stack is free asset and so powerfull and easy understandable for beginers.
Actually I don't want to build a high massive open world in my game ,that is why I don't make my scene so huge.
The second week began from the decinding who and how will the populate the scene.As I don't have money to buy 3d models of characters and other things.And I gone find the free models, in sketchfab.com I found a lot of high guality model which are not ashamed to use.
This week is a week of total changes.I've think that creating only one street ,it's to boring and not interesting.And I decide to build a little town with several streets.After this I begun to create the final step of my project,exactly add population make the city alive,and of course the video witch show all the features of NEO_CITY.
