The result of the ArtStation Challenge: NVIDIA Metropia 2042 - Characters of the Future.
The task was simple:
Create a resident of the year 2042. The implementation was difficult and versatile.
I started with lots of drawings and conceptual work so I would not move in the wrong direction during the challenge.
The character was created in Blender - textured in Substance Painter and rendered in Cycles. It is completely gerigged and animate - with subsurface she has around 720k verts - the animatable model has around 480k.
The whole figure has 7x 4k texture sets (including Albedo, Metalness, Roughness, Normal, Height and Emission)
