Ironcast - Freelance Developer
0 "Puzzlequest meets FTL in this Steampunk Victorian era roguelite." Inspired by Victorian era science fiction writers such as H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, take control of a 7 meter tall walking vehicle called an Ironcast and face off against an invading force of enemy Ironcast in order to defend 1880's Victorian England. For PC, Mac, Linux, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
As the sole developer for the majority of the project, I handled many aspects of the game including gameplay, graphics, AI and systems programming. Working closely with the creative lead and the artist remotely, we worked back and forth, iterating interesting gameplay solutions. I had the freedom to iterate and bring my own ideas and views to the game as it evolved.
I also developed many extensions to the Unity editor including tools to create the game’s mission and story content, and a tool for building the mechs and weapons used in the game.
Originally released on Desktop, Ps4 and XboxOne, i was brought back post-release to update the game to be released on Nintendo Switch
