Working with United Soft Media Verlag GmbH (USM), Sophisticated Games, and Reiner Knizia (maker of the board game Ingenious), I created an Android version of the game. I reused the sound, music, and some artwork from the existing iOS version, but the remaining textures I created using 3DS Max and Photoshop. I also ported their C++ AI library into a plugin for reuse. I designed the screens so that the game board and other screens always extended to a maximum width (plus padding) on a device, so devices with varying aspect ratios all looked very similar with the slimmer devices having additional space above and below the game board but still well textured behind. The game was very well received with great ratings (4+ stars) and even ranked in the top 50 game apps on Google Play several times.
