Implemented the aspects of Virtual reality and gesture recognition into a virtual walk-through in a 3-D modelled campus. With KINECT v2.0 to recognize hand gestures and Google Cardboard SDK for real time head tracking and Binocular rendering, user can experience an immersive walk through the campus. I used the High-level API’s NetworkManager class of Unity to setup a wireless server-client multiplayer connection between PC and phone. This was the first time to integrate gesture recognition with the Google VR headset wirelessly. Used C# to implement; Platform used: Unity3D and Google Sketchup.
