Hawaiian VR project started as design tool for Optimares, an italian company delivering aircraft seats, and GOOOD, an italian desing company.This solution is completely dynamic in terms of spaces, lights and interaction, allowing engineers as like as designer to develop and revisit their job properly experiencing volumes, look&feel and ergonomy.
Suddenly it became a collaborative framework allowing designer, engineers and clients as well to share an cooperate on line, saving a lot fo time and money.
When seat became real it wins the Red Dot Singapore Awards, Hawaiian Airlines First Class Cabin was born, our solution became also a powerful showcase tool.
It features full real time GI for external light as well internal environment, audio/video content runtime system, interactive sight and leap motion menus, geo-referenced google map environment and can be managed by a tablet for faster showcase.
It runs in VR smoothly at 90 FPS on a laptop, ok a good one, and is capable of runtime 3d model loading and editing.
First it was released in Honolulu, October 2015, lately it was used as shoecase in New York, Rome, Amburg, London, Dubai and minor locations.
