Here, gravity is your best friend ... after postman 📬!?

Help young fella to find his way home

All heroes wear capes, but one of ours is wearing a hat and carrying bag with mails :D Few days ago, our friendly postman was delivering mails ... and something horrible happened! Some mysterious force pulled him to another dimension... well, at least that is what one and an only letter left behind postman told us.
(We really don't want to spoil everything, you will have a chance to play it ... so be patient 😊)
Well, we all know how much it means to us, all our letters, all our packages which we ever received from postman ... and now because of how much all that mean to us, We ask you to help us save our postman, and help him with his mission.

How am I gonna play? Tell me more about it!

Well, young adventurer, let me tell you that this is a game like no other ... you are ... well, you won't believe me on this one ... YOU, MY FRIEND, ARE GRAVITY?!?!?!? Say Whaaaat??? 😳 Yes, you are helping our dear postman to find all hidden emails and find way home.
This is how you are gonna play.
You are gravity, and what gravity does is PULL, wherever you are, but I can say that you are more than our earth gravity, which works just one way, you are gravity itself you are Graviton (I know I didn't explain you any Physics so far ... but you know someone else can explain it to you Google) ... thank you, Google.
Now, you as Graviton can pull in any direction UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT ... and that way help our postman to avoid any ... well, unlucky accidents ... we want him to live "Happily ever after", you know 🙃happy story 😇
You can also create strong and weak gravity. That way we assured that our friend will be safe with you.
We will tell you later in VIDEO more about it ... we all know you like to watch more than reading 😘

Story behind (we are particles which create Graviton)

We are a young team of 4 with a huge love for games and creation! We are here to give you an amazing story and beautiful things to remember. We joined together with a wish to learn more about Unity and development knowing that game development is in front of every other development industry.

What a Team!!!

  • We have our Jade Kettu. Queen of the design, amazing artwork, and above everything else creator of imagination itself! but it's not all ... she is, hidden developer young adventurer ...
  • Hidden behind famous comedian Charlie, we have our master of game development Amer Zavlan. Conqueror of wild code and preacher of ECS!
  • From the shadows, striking when you expect least is our game developer Amir. Wise and patient following every Sprite Shape and every code line of yours, so be ware!
  • And well my friend, its me, your guide, one talking to you right now ... yes it's me 🤪 I am, well, long story, I ... this is sooo weird ... I created you 😳 🤯 I know, I know ... I am just, you know developer which created gravity ... I will explain it one day to you I promise.

What are our tools with which we bend our game in Unity

  • 2D SpriteShape (Used in creation of level, obstacles and environment design)
  • 2D IK (Used in character animation effected by gravity pull)
  • 2D Cinemachine (Used for easier following character trough tight spaces and curly tunnels)
  • Lighting Engine (Used for our environment effects)
  • (We are at the beginning so we might scale our project and use more Unity 2D tools) TBA

A goal without a plan is just, a wish

We have our plans and we are soon to open our Trello board to public so you can easily track our progress 🙂🙃 There is still lot of things which we need to plan so this plan bellow might seem rough, but no worries, we will keep you up to date 😉

Hi, Yes I was thinking about LE Pro (and I hope it does not conflict with unity challenge rules) :D I hope we (as a team) will have more time to put into game and bring it to real light after this competition. With much more detailed plans. Now we are all quite busy at the moment, and I hope we will finish this game at least 50% :D
