It was a decent length and the graphics have been updated to run on my current system with a resolution of 1920x1200. If you love hidden object games this one is a go.. This is a great HOG for newbies. I got it for 21 cents and I think it is just an easy HOG that I can play when I have a few mintues to relax. I am not big on puzzles, so YAY for the easy ones. I have been playing HOGS for years and if you can get this cheap it is worth it. Also, the items you get from the hidden object spots are not always predictable like in other HOGS. That, at least, is a bonus. I guess if you are a serious HOG player you should steer clear, but if you just like to relax to a fun HOG this is for you!. I beat this game in a 3.2 hourss (possibly less if I could figure out what they wanted me to do next). The puzzles a mild brain teasers and they story seems sparcely put together. Some of the hunting around for items is a little disconnected. Not sure if I can honestly recommend this game, I am not really certain I understand why Blackjack was♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥off, just knew he was killing the whole town and thats it.....I just felt more could be put into the story and in the puzzles. Graphics are on the line of similar hunt and pecks, so its got that going for it. The searchables were a little broken and I dare someone to truly try to play this game without using a hint, let alone find the gate in the back of the graveyard.I am willing to change my view if the designers decide to revisit this game and give it more of a story and a little more understanding of what need to happen.. So a hidden object game, and if you know the genre you probably know what to expect more or less - the story is fairly perfunctory, the few animations of characters are bad, the hidden object scenes are decent if overused, the in game logic is as random as nearly all such games - one minute you are psychically picking up and keeping items you have no idea you need yet (at least in this case you could argue some slight justification in the story for this), the next you seem to have thrown away the last 15-20 hammers you have picked up during the story so far and now need another one, etc.The main good points here are that the graphics are pretty decent, none of the scenes will really have you squinting to try and determine what something is, the point and click segments mostly make sense and flow from each other without having to backtrack too much. The weaker points are the lack of a map and the hint system is very general (it tells you what you need to do next accurately, but it isn't always obvious where you have to go or where to find an item it says you need) - the lack of map isn't too bad though, as the game is fairly linear and you tend to mostly work in one area at a time, and it does have the plus of making it slightly more immersive than in other games in the genre where you just end up teleporting around chasing exclamation marks. The mini game puzzles are also very easy pretty much across the board, so don't expect to really stretch your brain here.It is perfectly playable (and currently ridiculously cheap), so if you want another HOG then this is a perfectly acceptable option if you aren't too picky.. I took a chance on this game despite the negative reviews since I'm running low on this kind of game and it was only $2.50 on sale.Honestly, it's not nearly as bad as some are making it out to be. While there are some minor technical difficulties, i.e. a few objects in the HO scenes took some pixel-hunting to obtain), nothing is off-the-charts bad. There were honestly so few of the "why is it taking me 150029492 clicks to get this object" problems, it didn't bother me much when it did happen. The game ran perfectly on my newish Windows 10 laptop. No issues whatsover.Graphically a little older-looking but still nice-looking. Voice-acting was decent which is all I've learned to want in a HO game. Music and sound was well done. There are not a lot of frills to this game; no interactive map, no achievements, no extra objects, etc. which we've learned to expect thanks to the really spectacular Artifex Mundi games, but this game strikes me as an older one from a time when the bells and whistles weren't so prevalent. It doesn't bother me any but if you're expecting something like the newer, shiny games, you'll be setting yourself up for disappointment. In conclusion, this is a perfectly passable HO game and worth it if you can grab a sale (I wouldn't recommend full price due to the couple of minor issues listed above). As long as you don't expect a masterpiece, it's an amusing use of a couple hours with a story that's surprisingly touching at points.. This is a great HOG for newbies. The worst hidden object game I have played. There is no map, which means no quick travel, big mistake dear developers. Also stages loads quite slow, I have played few of hidden object games before and none of them were having this issue.. this is actually not a bad hidden object and puzzle game but it needs some fixes and improvements. clue system not working the way ıt's supposed to be, sometimes clicking not working hidden objects and there is no map. cartoony graphics looks great and story is not bad one but expert mode very confusing because of these problems. i suggest to you play only custom mode.. Ok, but not great. There are much better options out there.
