A mobile strategic RPG where you make the daily decisions for three bandit leaders in a Medieval land. Explore, trade, quest, scout, battle, parley, ransack and loot, while avoiding deadly pursuit.
Three Heroes is a single-player, turn-based, procedurally generated and is a modern take on the text-adventure. There’s a huge effort made to have everything make sense, giving the game a sim-like feel at times. Designed from scratch for iOS.

Play begins with travel to a far-off district. There the player scouts the district, establishes a well-hidden camp, visits the biggest town to get quests, and then scouts the district again. Choices then multiply:
  • Visit towns, villages, inns and trade camps to get quests, recruit and trade.
  • Help locals by delivering needed goods, providing an escort, and investigating problems - from missing children to calamities (such as fires).
  • Explore ruins, caves, gravesites and the wilderness.
  • Watch temples, Scout vineyards, Ransack towers, Rescue captives, Parley with foes, and/or Expel bandits.
  • Challenges include figuring out 1) what the true risk-levels are for each action, 2) an efficient order to do the actions in, and 3) how long you can push your luck before a Faction patrol finds you.

Eventually the player may have exploited all of the opportunities or feels that pursuit is closing in. They pack camp and relocate several districts away, hopefully escaping any pursuit. During these travels the Orc Scavenger visits a city to sell-off trade and small goods (after going through customs). Before leaving the city, they’ll do some recruiting and perhaps visit the bank to deposit excess wealth.
Long term, the player does the dirty work for the Factions, trying to accumulate enough wealth to retire before an angered faction terminates one of the heroes. Another goal exists but that would reveal a spoiler.
With Three Heroes, we have made a fresh and shiny RPG which showcases an unexpected use of the Unity engine.
