Simple and Customizable Crafting and Professions
  • Every recipe, like Shortsword, is a customizable template with thousands of possible outcomes
  • Every piece of equipment can take 1 to 5 player crafted, equally customizable enchants
  • Set enchants let you build sets to fit your character with generic restrictions like one-handed weapon
  • Level all professions freely unlocking and upgrading the recipes and talents you want with no maximum levels
  • No mini-games, no loading bars, and no pointless ingredients
Customizable Classes and Skills
  • Unlimited player levels in an infinite multiverse of exponentially increasing difficulty
  • Six adventure skill points per level: four class bound, two open for use on any skill tree

Solace Crafting is the product of decades of the joy and misery we gamers are subject to every day. Waiting years for that awesome sequal to your favorite series only to realize the new dev team has completely ruined everything. Finally getting your hands on the most crazy rediculous weapon or armor you've ever seen in a video game only to stash it away a few days later. Building a massive monument to the gods only to have it burned down in your sleep.
I've been there.
I want it to be different.
It won't be perfect, but it will be sincere.
I started out years ago specifically wanting to change the way games approach crafting. Several years and many notebooks later I finally know what I'm doing, and am grabbing the bull by the horns. All I need now is your support!
Solace Crafting will be actively developed for at least the next few years. My current goal is to somehow, someway, raise enough money or sales to quit my day job so I can actually make a dent on my gigantic todo list.
Goals:
  1. Get a demo out to streamers, press, and curators
  2. Raise enough money to go full time (Kickstarter(near future) or Steam Sales(less near future))
  3. Spend the rest of my life developing Solace Crafting and it's descendants (unless Starfleet becomes a reality)
  4. Continuously run events to incorporate community made icons, recipe ideas/models, enchants, buildings, etc.
  5. Make an attempt to encourage an understanding of the benefits of good sportsmanship and positive attitude
* Multiplayer, and all of its many features will absolutely be implemented when full-time development becomes a reality. Until then or a until a solid beta build is released, the game will remain single player.
