The main goal was to try a new aproach on the cliche sci-fi neon filled cityscape. The main inspiration came from from the following architecture styles:

The main light rig is a HDR skybox with a directional light acting as sun. The scene has 150 spotlights, all of them are baked. 90% of the assets use the standard shader.
The City of Neongrad
The main assets were modeled based on references in Maya and textured in SubstancePainter. The building textures were made in Photoshop. Most of the textures are from Textures.com. The only third party assets that I used are the rooftop decals, vehicles and trees.
