This a dynamic environment I built for the VR art installation CONNECTED by Studio Akatak.
The installation involves audience members sitting at a table with various objects (motion tracked in real-life) and a narrative about the sensory overload we face in our daily lives. The environment begins all white and is interactively brought into full color by the users. Eventually, the environment is deformed and turns into a breathing skin material.
Everything uses custom shaders which can be dynamically changed into the various states based on the user interaction and timeline. It was build for the Oculus Quest.
