This game has been bouncing around in my head for years, and has taken many iterations. I still have yet to decide on which version I want to do, but this is one of the better versions. This game is bare-bones, but also only take around 2-3 days to code and design the level.
In spite of the fact that the character has no jump button, the game-play is fluid and natural. The use of the push-back of the gun adds a difficult but exciting way to move about the world. It also has a charge meter, which limits the players firing rate in a way that prevents abuse, but doesn't frustrate or leave the player waiting to recharge for long.
I've also textured and modeled the world in such a way that allows for any color blind to be able to enjoy the game just as fully.
