I upped the speed and handling, re-routed the track, added some decorations and effects, and installed a shortcut (and a recovery ramp if the shortcut goes wrong)
Don't hammer the throttle, feather the gas and take it easy on corners, you'll do much better.

Is it slow because of my internet, or because I "overspent my budget" on assets, lights. effects. etc?

Matthew ParsonsAh, "ran well on local computer, slow on uploaded" was key piece of missing info! That's actually a bit odd, unless it's something with WebGL on your computer. (Are your video drivers relatively up-to-date?) Unity-in-webbrowser pretty much loads everything up front, so once that's done, internet speed shouldn't affect much.
@Matthew Parsons perhaps that is the issue. This is a pretty old rust-bucket of a computer and it has trouble updating drivers. I'm thinking it might be time to switch to my more powerful desktop and sacrifice my mobility

Matthew ParsonsYou really nailed the "candyland" aesthetic! I won't answer your performance question directly, but ask you, how might you find out? What questions should ask and try and get answers? (Think it through before you scroll down. ) (We'll see how long comments display here) How does it run locally on you computer? What if you build it for native and run it? How do you think slow inet would make it

Sorry I just saw this now! Thank you for the feedback! It ran pretty well on my computer before I uploaded it, and then rather poorly once I tried to play it online. I dont really know much about what effects performance, especially coming from a very potato computer ( I cant use my desktop at the moment)
