A game to help children with respiratory diseases
BreathingApp is designed to help children with respiratory diseases like asthma and cystic fibrosis to better understand, and ultimately treat, their illnesses. It is a free open-sourced project that can be downloaded from the Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.BreathingGames.BreathingApp&ah=mB5ZbXGcc09XZoWLcu5eUREMw-4
The app is a collection of mini-games, such as 'Trigger Hero': a game where a flying child must destroy their specific asthma triggers with the appropriate treatments.
All the mini-games reward the player with 'stars' to spend in 'MyRoom': a space where players can spend the rewards they have earned on items and decorations, and slowly build up a sense of achievement for the time they have spent learning about their illness.
BreathingApp is part of an open-sourced project by Breathing Games.
