An experiment in navigating a virtual space that is larger than the Vive's room volume.
The user is first presented with a scale model of the space. Points of interest are highlighted with a wireframe cube representing the room volume. The user can target these volumes and shrink themselves down into the model. From there they can teleport to different areas using the controller.
An additional experiment was putting a physical chair in the room, matching the virtual chair's position. This adds tactile reinforcement to the virtual illusion.
