Blindshot is a demo VR FPS I made.
The game is aimed for smartphones. Vuforia framework is used to track a target that the player holds in his hand. The target represents a gun shooting paint projectiles that leave splashes. The level is initially white with no shadows, so are the enemies. The player then has to paint the level in order to see the enemy.
Using Vuforia allows for a VR experience using a smartphone and a printed paper target, no VR helmets required.
During the project a simple shader was written to enable painting game objects; an input module was written based on Unity's standard input module to enable laser pointer alike interaction with Unity UI.
