Assassins Creed Odyssey
The game that I played was Assassins Creed Odyssey. It is an RPG game that is a part of the Assassins Creed timeline. It follows the story line of the character that you choose, you can choose to either play as Kassandra, the female protagonist, or you can play as Alexios, who is her male counterpart. I chose to play as Kassandra. This is the first Assassins Creed game that I have ever played and I chose to play it because it is based in ancient Greece, which is a time period that I am interested in and know a little bit about. The game, in my experience, was an easy one to jump into because it is not really a continuation of anything so I could easily follow the characters on their journey without having to know too much about the previous story lines. This could also be a bad thing if you are someone who was looking for the game to flow into the overall arch of the Assassins Creed world, which it may be doing and I am just unaware of how it fits into the overall story. The game is more than likely a prequel considering the time that it is set in.

What I Like About the Game

The things that I like about the game are the cinematic, story line, and the ability to explore the world. The cinematic of the game are some of the best that I have seen recently. The graphics are incredible and to me they feel borderline realistic or as if they could very well be in a movie. The graphics of the game make exploring the world extremely interesting and fun due to the various landscapes and creatures that you come across. I love how large the world of the game is. It gives you a lot of things to explore and side missions to complete whenever you are not following the main story line. It makes for hours of fun to discover the many hidden things that the world holds. I also love how choice driven the story is as well.

What I Did Not Like About the Game

The main things about the game that I did not like were that there were a few glitches that occurred with the landscape and some of the animals that was annoying, and sometimes it was hard to stay on the main story line due to how much stuff there is to do. But overall, I found the game to be very entertaining and enjoyable to play.

In conclusion I loved playing Assassins Creed Odyssey due to its story line, open world, and cinematic. This game made me want to check out all of the other games in this franchise to follow the whole timeline in order to find where this games fit in with the rest of the stories, if it does at all. It will be interesting to see how the world of Assassins Creed develops in the future games as well.
