Childhood Dream Come True

Professional Game Designer
My name is Terry Hess and I can remember wanting to be able to make my own video games since I was 5 years old setting in my bedroom playing The Legend Of Zelda on the NES. When I turned 18 years old I almost went to DeVry University to pursue my dream of becoming a game designer but instead I was getting my first taste of freedom and decided to have fun and work around the area I live in and that’s exactly what I did for the next 13, 14 years of my life. I worked, had fun with friends, played lots of video games, and started a family. After working dead end jobs that barely allowed me to support my family I went back to school at the age of 31. When I stared collage I didn’t even know how to use Microsoft Word but after a lot of hard work I graduated 2nd in my class with a Bachelor of Science in Game Design. Now I’m working hard making video games like I always wanted to and enjoying the hard work. Hopefully with a little luck and my determination I will be able to design and make the next video game that sweeps the nation.
