Aritana is a platform game with mechanics based on the exchange of positions. Positions define attributes such as Speed, Leaps, Attacks and Special Abilities. The player must choose between positions to overcome obstacles and fight the spirits of the forest on a fast, intuitive and fun gameplay. Aritana will learn new moves and abilities as the game progresses. Besides, Mapinguari will pursue him constantly and will be responsible for battles that require concentration and mastery of all learned skills.
Aritana and the Harpy's Feather was my first indie title. From 2012 to 2015 I have worked together with the guys over Duaik Studios to develop this game.My main role on this project was to take care of the art in all its aspects. Modeling, texturing, visual effects and Post processing effects. I've worked together with the guys over Duaik Studios to set a nice cartoon look and feel to the game.Here you will find some assets, scenarios, characters, creatures, props and visual fx that I did for the game.
