Demonstrating aircraft features in a conference setting using VR.
The city was procedurally generated in Esri CityEngine on top of a supplied heightmap, and according to various design rules (building types and heights, level of street detail, texture sets, no-build areas).
Then it was taken into Max for to make it performant in VR and to create the flight path and airport. Then imported into Unity and placed onto Unity terrain using the same heightmap. Then created the night time environment and finished off with a couple of layers of volumetric fog from the asset store
