This showcase contains a handful of prototypes which I have developed, to test individual aspects of simple, autonomous animals in a simulated ecosystem.
The prototypes include: Spiraling search patterns, using vectors to determine optimal "escape point" when fleeing, observing and remembering objects (with redundancy checks to reduce number of stored observations), point-based influence and weight-based randomization (relative utility).
A PDF is attached, explaining in detail how each of the prototypes work, one function at a time.
Each prototype is individually compartmentalized so as to maximize ease of implementation in future projects.
