48 hour game submission at first annual VR BrainJam for the Games for Change festival
Lead Developer, July 28th to July 30th 2017, New York NY, USA
Teamed up with neuroscience researchers and artists in the Theresa Lang Center in Manhattan where we explored the intersection of our domains. I was the lead developer on our project “Shima”, a Virtual Reality risk assessment game where players can explore and take pictures of creatures with a virtual camera, earning points based on quality.
I enjoyed developing the hand-held camera as well as the photo capture algorithms which used the camera’s frustum to detect objects and calculate points based on distance and target. Our project got the most votes and our team presented on a panel at the 2017 Games for Change conference in NYC.
