Welcome to the FPS Creators Group. As a new user you will find this group useful to interact with others who are also at their Unity learning beginnings. You will find Unity Staff and experienced developers around to help you with any of the issues that may arise during your learning process.

With this group you will be able to discuss, ask questions and show off your work based around the FPS Creators In-Editor Tutorial. Not only will you be able to interact with the group and see content shared from Unity, you can 'Join Discussion Channel' by clicking on the button at the top right of this page. This will allow you to interact with others through our messenger system in a chat exclusively related to the group.

We are incredibly excited to have you here, to help you in your journey with Unity and hope you have a lot of fun learning how to build games with us.

This is really cool! I've decided to check this out since I'm working on an FPS myself, and I think this would be a good opportunity for me to learn and apply what I've learned to my project. I've been using Unity for about a year(practically live in the engine), but I still consider myself a beginner. This is a very well made, organized project, I'm learning quite a bit right away!!

Hello I just started this microgame tutorial and I have a problem. Whenever I start the project the weapon camera goes up in the air and it doesnt allow me to control it, it just goes in a circles in the air.

Hello. I see that, it's like the connection to the first player control is gone. For me to figure it out I would save my game and start new one. But I use the new one as a test area for things to try. But I also us it as a reference place. this way i can see if i deleted something or turned something off. I know i'm not much help but that's works for me

As I work through the FPS gamejam sample tutorial, I'm not able to save the project to a custom Unity folder. I keep getting the "scene must be saved in Assets folder" error when I attempt to save the whole project. Googling issue shows that many others seem to have same problem with no answer. Lost my work when Unity froze even though I had been hitting save. Anyone know how to save entire tutorial Project to custom Project folder so mods aren't lost if Unity closes or freezes?

That worked! A leap of faith just trying to close not knowing if your changes would be saved, but yes.. allowed the custom project folder to be saved. Thank you! :)

Does anyone know how to pick one level from a series of levels and then keep looping everytime you finish a level. Also, how do you add score and enemy spawners.

Hi guys, I'm new here, and I need help :)
I wanted to turn the application into VR but i can not, has anyone tried it?
