I had a question. Since im making a game is it alright if i ask about stuff and post stuff here as well? since its strictly blender i dont know how much people would approve of that, but id love to show off what im working on.

Nicolò PadovaniNo problem from me, feel free to post whatever you want! (not a boss here, but as I see there's no probs at all in posting random stuff)
Totally! It may be a blender group, but it's a Unity site, ask away!

Hi everyone! Just a quick hello from a new member! I'm one of two indie developers at Cyberlamb Studios. Here's a screenshot form the title screen of our recently released game DEATHPIT 3000 - I made the space station in Blender. It's available on Steam if you'd like to check it out! http://store.steampowered.com/app/718720/DEATHPIT_3000/

Thats awesome, congratulation on making it to Steam! The art takes me back to the flash games we used to play every recess in school

I came here to learn a few things before I release my game. I want to make damage on my cars. Also I want to make the cars driveable. All YouTube videos are out dated . Help me

You can create/ modify meshes not only into the shader, maybe try out marchcube algorithm for procedurally create and modify mesh
For the damage you will probably have to code in C#, art wise you can do it a few ways. I would either make several components that can be swapped (Normal Bumper, Damaged Bumper, Bumper on fire etc.) or you could get a shader that does damage procedurally.
If I where doing that I would say use the Unity standard car with your own model. This guy has an ok tutorial on replacing the components: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIX4JeUD7YE it's a bit long, but you can skip through.

Here sneak peak at a small puzzle game I made with some other students today, probably 2 days of design and code with 2 of us, and about 2 hours of art-pass in Unity with Blender. this afternoon. Still needs some textures, but I think it's presentable :P

Hi all!
I'm Cori
I create Fashion, absolute newbie at Unity, slight newbie at Blender, also use Marvelous Designer . Old PC, is not allowing my full potential. Have lots to learn. I'm out of practice, been sick for the last year, but so looking forward to getting back in the swing. Nice to meet you all!
